does not everyone deserve a homeland? I know many people are sympathethic to israel, but most israelis have high standards of living while palestinians live in poverty and are overcrowded in refugee camps . I know many people are against them for suicide bombings and such, but many more palestinians have been killed than israelis, the israeli soldiers often kill innocent civilians or harass them. all I am asking is what do you have against someone having a homeland? the jews got theirs, which they deserved, but palestinians should have one too, even if they have to share it, why does on group have to have it all? why not share it?( I know there are many extremist who want all or nothing, I don't support that, but can't understand why they hate israel? if someone took your home away from you, wouldn't you be a little pissed?

Everyone is the West is doing all they can to build a second Arab state in Palestine, for the still stateless Palestine Arabs.
Its the Arabs who hate the idea. Because it would mean they would have to give up on their main goal -- destroying Israel.

Israel is the Cuba of the Middle East, it's the US's foothold on a region where everyone else is hostile to them (which is why the US is so desperate to set up permanent military bases in Iraq).
The US is willing to abide any terrorist act by the Israelis for the same reason they were willing to sell WMDs to Saddam in the 1980s when they knew he was committing genocide against Iranians and Kurds: it served "US interests".
Few people reject Israel's right to exist, and that includes the Iranian president. Claims that he called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" were deliberate mistranslations. He was calling for an end to how the Israelis treat the Palestinians, and that such oppression should be "wiped from history". That's hardly an inflammtory statement.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article12790.htm
Unfortunately, many believe the lie that "Israel can do no wrong" having been the victims of attempted genocide, and that includes no criticism of them *attempting* genocide and ethnic cleansing on the Palestinians. Any criticism of Israel, no matter how valid or factual, is labelled "anti-semitic" much the same way "Nazi" is used to insult people.
People are against a Palestinian state because the Palestinians did what stateless people do when they have no legal recourse and their rights have been violated: they turned to violence. There was no Hamas or terrorism committed by Palestinians sixty years ago when there *was* a Palestinian state.
Interestingly, sixty years ago, the Israelis practiced the same sort of terrorism that they and the world now vilify the Palestinians for practicing....

They are against themselves. I recently came back from Israel. When driving through Palestine I noticed that there was not 2 inches of free space that wasn’t covered with a picture of Arifat or however his name is spelled. It appears they all loved this man that was keeping them in poverty. This area is full of religious sites and relics that boasted Billions of Dollars in tourism. Because of the terrorists and hatred of the Jews that has dropped tremendously. The Jew have had to erect large walls to protect themselves and limit travel. As a result tourism has dropped to about one tenth of normal and none being enjoyed by the Palestinians. Palestine could enjoy the economic growth from this if they hadn’t made it unsafe to travel there. This is all because of the hatred taught by Arifat. The man they so loved kept them in poverty not the Jew. One Palestinian restaurant I ate at will soon have to close after the wall is constructed. This will cut off the tourists also. So the land lord will no longer be getting rent for the restaurant which relies entirely on tourists. The citizens can’t afford to go to restaurants, because there hatred has killed the tourist trade. The wall is to keep snipers from taking pop shots at Jews. One Palestinian tried to run me down because I am an American. You see it is taught and written in the domes of their masques death to the infidels. That is probably you and the rest of the world that they feel support the Jew or anyone who is not Islamic. Their own hatred has caused the Jews to push them back and keep a portion of land between them, called the Gaza Strip. The Jews were willing to open the strip but the Palestinians keep bombing and shooting and then complain that they are being robbed of their land. By the way they never had a country before. They were nomadic. I hope this has clarified your understanding. You may find it interesting that if the Jews give up the Gaza Strip they will have broken their covenant with God.

Because 90% of Americans are functionally illiterate and couldn't find the Middle East on a map if it was circled with a huge red circle.
The American media is controlled by Zionists, the majority of American politicians are Zionists (imagine that), and Zionism is promoted as a means for ensuring continued support for warmongering on behalf of Exxon Mobil (the real financier of Zionism).
The simple answer is that the majority of Americans are ignorant, brainwashed sheep.
Israel has no legal right to exist, much less be dictating terms to Palestinians. But, might makes right, and for the time being, Zionists control all the heavy artillery.
One hundred years from now, there will be no "Jewish state" in the Middle East or anywhere else.

I don't think that everyone is against this at all. For people who live in the West I think the perception is based on the media. The media plays a big role in our lives and sometimes we take things at face value without investigating it further. And yes I would be pissed if someone took my homeland away. In the end they do deserve their piece of land to call their own.

I must say that you seem to have a great deal of insight. It's the people in poverty that Jesus came to help. Look at what Sidharatha (Buddah) did. He left his kingdom behind and went out into the world to help those who needed help. Couldn't you see that as almost prophetic of what Christ did? Christ gave up his "spiritual kingdom" for a while to come and help the people who really needed the help. As long as they had their eyes and ears open, and had some faith, He would acccept anyone. It made no difference what they did in the past.
Anyone would be pissed for awhile if their home was taken from them. What you need to realize, though, is that your home can't be taken from you. Home is a perception. The whole earth is our home, and we should be taking better care of it and those around us.
Most people don't choose to be disabled or poor. It is usually forced on them by people who are so materialistic that they can't see the suffering of others. They are on their own path, I suppose, but one day, some of them will learn.
Keep the Fire! God bless you.

Wake up. there is now a Palestine, and the people are still killing each other off. Why? because they want all jews killed. If you live in poverty, that is not Israel's fault. Its your own for continuing to fight amongst yourselves.
