Well, I don't know about faster, but here are some tips:

First, as much as you might not like it (I HATE it, too), get a light trim, as light as possible. If you are perming your hair, stop for awhile, like at least 4 months. Deep condition you hair weekly. Get a hooded blowdryer, check different stores to see which sells them and find your price range, because you'll need to use it as you deep condition your hair, to sit under it with the conditioner in your hair. Wash your hair weekly or so. Get light trims every other month.
If you are using a handheld blowdryer, stop using it. if you feel like that's the only way to tame your hair, use it as less frequent as possible, and use low settings, as hair weakens using a handheld dryer. Use a straightening/frizz control serum before you blowdry.

The mexico remedy that really works is that you bald your hair go to the nearest farm and look out for the cow that is about to take A Sh** and make sure that when that cow freshly dumps it you take it and put it all on your bald head, wrap the cow sh** securely on your head with A plastic bag so that it does'nt fall. You do this for about 30 minutes.
