Its really nice to know that you have NO problem dating any boy of a different race. Shows how broad-minded and open hearted you are. Anyone would appreciate this mindset..frankly we hardly find such people these days. What matters most is "i love him" statement. Love is the one feeling on which a relationship will last. Ultimately, YOU have to live the life, ain't it? Not your mother, nor anyone for that matter. If you feel you are going to be happy staying with him, then damn all who object. Love is a precious feeling, if you are comfortable with the guy..go ahead. Be serious with what you think and do. Personally I wish from the bottom of my heart that you grow old with the guy. Have a good life.

Unfortunately while you are living under her roof and you are under 18 you don't have much say on who you date. I am sorry your mother feels that way, and I am glad you don't, but if she ever finds out you are hiding your relationship it might make matters worse for you. I would rather risk telling her. In would suggest you talk to another family member who is close to you and doesn't feel the same way as your mother about members of another race. The family member probably would know better how your mother might react rather than a stranger such as myself. Do you have a close aunt or grown up that you could talk to? If you do, have them help you talk to your mother.

how old r u? if u're young... i think u're doing the right thing. after all, why make a fuss outta something u dont even know would last forever right? be happy with him and dont worry about mum. and she shouldnt worry either, it sounds too soon to worry. but u have to play your part. dont turn into some psycho daughther who feels that her mum wont understand and etc... be a better person to show your mum how being with this boy is helping you grow. a mum can't REALLY dislike a guy when they know he's a good influence, and only you can show your mum that.

girl, you do what you feel is right. I mean you cant change everybody, but if you feel that if your mom found out that she might hurt you, whether its physically or not, then I think you need to kinda ease into it. Just talk around her like "I like black guys" Jokingly of course and let her know that just cause she has something against it doesnt mean that you do. Then PROVE to her that he is the boy you say he is

you better tell her!

She will be more angry if she found out through someone else, rather than from you directly.

Your mature discussion with her will show her how much you are turning into a mature individual who has put thought into the decision

I'm glad your not prejudice and hope and pray she is not also. It could be a hard life ahead of you but if you got what it takes go for it. God created us equally.
