I remember all about where I thought of a really good idea, what I was doing at the time when I came up with the good idea, and saying that good idea to myself over and over again so that I wouldn't forget it, reassuring myself that I wouldn't forget because it is such an easy concept that I'll remember it anyway... but in the end, I always forget.

It makes me want to flip over tables or something, and slap my head off its neck.

I always forget important stuff that I come up with while I am driving my car.

Shoulda wrote it down!

But what can I do to remember it now?

Take 3 deep breaths, and stop running about like a chicken with no head.

If this is how chaotic your life is, and you've tried slowing down but you get nowhere, then you need to find some alternative measures!

Little notebook never helped me, I scribbled heaps of junk everywhere for different things in my life ie shopping, to do, what to bring with me to work the next day, the GREAT idea and so on.

Sometimes I wouldn't see this book, and the more I added the more messy it became.

Get a palm notebook... it really helps! Especially when you hook it up to your PC and everything is syncronised!

Set goals as to when you are to achieve them!

Don't try to remember, but put yourself in the same setup that you had that idea. An important thing is that an idea that sounded important at the time and in a special context, may not feel as that important later in another context. So when you are trying to remember something "important", you may fail, because you unconsciously know that it is not important anymore. So don't try to remember something important, just try to remember that thought.

It happens to me, too. Usually when i first get up in the morning, or when I am in the shower.

I used to carry a small notebook in my purse, for jotting things down quickly,so I wouldn't forget.

I always think I'll remember, but I don't! :-))

You could try hypnosis to see if you can access the idea, if it means that much to you.
