Yea I do too! I live in Australia now and no-one understands me! I moved from the UK about 6 months ago and of course you have breakfast, dinner, tea, and supper!
It is only suprising to everyone else, to me it is quite normal!

Tea is a bunch of leaves, originally for poison? So Tea is from herbs to taste the water. Coffee is fairly new, so are sodas...
Most people drink hot drink to stay warm. Cold to get cooler?
So, you see a hot drink in hot weather, thats just society club or the TV commercial.
If your regular water or drink tastes funny, maybe its expired. Some office coffee, bottled water, sports bottle tastes like plastic wrapper, or smells like cleaning fluid, and its not your imagination.

I used to send instant messages to a friend in Australia. He used to sign off so he could have "tea." I didn't get it for quite a while, and then one day, he explained to me that it was their term for "dinner!" Interesting, huh?

I live in New Zealand and we call tea the meal we have at night. We also have supper before we go to bed.
