I would send her a greeting card in the mail, not anything that would set off her alarm bells that you might be a nut, just one saying that you are glad to know her, nothing mushy or romantic. Just a general card saying you like her as a friend.
She will be able to read between the lines from this.
But you won't be putting yourself out there on a limb for her to freak out and tell you she doesn't feel that way or some other embarrassing thing.
Make sure you mail it to her, don't just hand it to her or leave it on her desk. Mailing makes it like you put thought into it.
If she likes you "like that" she will get the message and let you know. If she doesn't, no harm done. She will just say "thank you" and leave it at that.

Don't hint around, she might get the wrong idea and think you're harrassing and/or stalking her. Be straight forward and say you're okay with it if she feels like it would interfere with your work relationship, but you think that you both would have a good time if you went to dinner or a movie together. Because you've left her an "out" if she's not interested without fear of repercussions later, she can answer truthfully, yes or no.
It never hurts to ask, just be mature if the answer isn't what you wanted. Good luck.

Make sure her (for lack of a better phrase) biological clock isn't ticking. She might expect more out of a relationship at this point in her life than you are. You want to be at the same place mentally to be with someone.

My opinion is to subtly let her know. If you are subtle and then she starts to return it get a little more bold. If she doesn't then back off or it could make your work life very uncomfortable. Good luck!

I'd let her know. The worse that can happen is that she could say "no". But on the other hand, and she might say "yes".
But if anything do happen, just keep it outside of work. If you don't, that could cause problems.

Go for it!
10 yrs. isn't that much of a difference.
If she feels the same way, than you both could have something most people only dream of.

What is the big deal, for ages, men have always had relationships with younger women, so why can`t women have relationships with younger men?
I have had them before, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

If it is not against school regs, and she is not married, than ask her out. I'm 27, and if a 20 yr old asked me out I'd say hell yeah. If I wasn't married.
