Israelis dont target civilians either.

And so if Damascus, Syria is to be nuked, it will be done by Syria's fellow Arabs, and not Israelis........

It's a long shot ... but perhaps Israel does not nuke Damascus. Maybe Syria and Israel will sign some peace treaty or something. The rest of the Muslim world is so angery at Syria, they are considered traitors blah blah blah, and some nation that has access to nuclear technology and ties to terrorism gives a nuke to some terrorists and they blow up Damascus. Just a thought.

Be careful in your interpretations. This bible was translated several times and some dude named King James totally adulterated it. Most of its original meaning is probably lost to the ages. And even if Damascus was intended to be a heap of ruins as stated in the Bible, who is to say that Israel would have done it? Maybe Damascus will be a heap of ruins as well as the rest of the world due to some kind of extinction-level event like a cometary impact of cataclysmic proportion.

It would not take a nuke to leave Damascus in a heap of ruins --- a good series of fuel air bombs would level a good chunck of Damascus without the nukes. A run of B-29's with conventional bombs could level Damascus. --- Just look at what happened to Dresden during WWII --- And that was pre Atomic Bomb.

The bible states many things that will never come to pass. I wouldn't hold my breath on the Israel nuking Damascus thing either. Read the National Enquirer, thier predictions are probably more likely to happen than the bibles.....

It would be really helpful if you wish to discuss a verse or chapter that you might include it with your question. It seems like you might be talking about some futurist interpretation of Revelations or Daniel...these however are wrong. Prophecy and history go hand in hand. The antichrist (man of sin, son of perdition, little horn of Daniel's dream) has been here for almost 1500 years, yet few can see it, anymore. He's not invisible, it's just people refuse to believe these days.

I'm not telling you this to start a debate; but rather, that you might know what all the Protestant Reformers knew...that the papacy is the very "seat of antichrist" or "Satan's seat".

What makes you so sure that Israel is going to nuke Damascus i think gods going to do it himself

That should be a sign to Israel. It sure sounds like a nuke doesn't it? Israel says we know who runs Lebanon and Syria will be the address to our response.

It could be within 9 years at the most.
It might be done by Israel or USA, both are used to killing innocent civilians and call it "war casualty"
Recent history is full of it.
