Have you heard of the 'zero tolerance zone' to illegal aliens?

Question

Apparently in this part of the Rio Grande on the first illegal crossing they arrest the illegal for a federal misdemeaner and sentence them to 15 days before deporting them. On a second crossing they will be sentenced to up to two years in prison.

bichnitz - I don't want to pay for the $18,000 it costs to educate each one of their children for one year in Los Angeles. That money is needed to educate the children who are supposed to be here, including my own. If you want to open your wallet and pay for them all, feel free. Also, I assure you I don't need the media to tell me this is a problem. However, it did take the marches before I looked into how much of the obvious problem is caused by illegal immigrants concentrated in my area, with more entering every day. After all, they don't wear signs around their necks.

DAR: I'm just taking a few minutes in here to say a great big THANK YOU to all the people like you who are on here educating all of us and spreading the truth about the devastation that illegal immigration is causing to the USA! I know you get a lot of backlash from the ignorants who support illegal immigration and even the so-called "poor" illegal immigrants (who, BTW, obviously aren't all so POOR if they are actually on the internet with a computer, in the first place) and yet you keep on here relentlessly stating the facts and telling it like it is. So, THANK YOU, and keep up the good work and don't let any of the illegals and illegal supporters cause you to back down.

Hey, just to let you know. You answered my question, by judging me and telling me I was to young to understand. I have 3 children my self, and I pay taxes, so does my husband. You should really think about things before you make those mistakes. But Mexicans arent' the only immigrants who take advantage of the system. I know many different races that take advantage. You should really know the facts before you make a comment like that.

PS I'm not justifying taking advantage of the system. I understand that our tax money goes into all of these programs, that help immigrants. It makes me angry that my sister in law, who is illegal from Guatemala gets medi-cal and when my husband and I got layed off, we tried to apply for our family and they didn't allow us to get it. They said we made to much on unemployment. Can you believe that? It just upsets me the way some people drag the Mexican race (in general) down.

If not for the media doing what they do best...Making everyone so dam nervous and uptight. I am willing to bet that most citizens in this country would not even notice a problem with illegal immigrants. I am a white American born citizen. All you people out there who are wondering why there is a problem with illegal immigrants. The answer is quite simple, it is our own governments fault. If you have never been through any kind of immigration processing at the local USCIS than you need to try it out. If I was coming to this country from say Mexico and I went to the USCIS to get treated like a piece of garbage I wouldn't go back either. Come on over!....that is what our ancestors did to the Native Americans. Ever wonder why Native Americans look a little ......Asian? Uhhhhhh maybe because their ancestors walked here from Asia over the Bering Strait during the ice age. That was just a measly 12-13,000 years ago. Pretty long way to go just to have a bunch of immigrants(our ancestors) float over here and take all your land away and call it a free country. Free country all right....we stole it. What comes around goes around. For all you people that were fortunate enough to be born in the US and call yourselves citizens I believe the number was out of every 100 citizens only about 20 know what the colors on the American flag represent. Pathetic. How about the stars? Come on people. What is the address to the White House? If you proud citizens have to research any of these than you are just lucky to be citizens and are not deserving of it what so ever. I won't even get into serving your country. Although in defense of the Mexicans who are serving in our armed forces that are not guaranteed citizenship when and if they return from fighting for our country..Thanks for serving and good luck at you local USCIS office. Don't mind these people that call themselves citizens they don't know ****. Only what the media tells them. Most of them have never seen in person what kind of living conditions people around the world have to live in every day. They were just lucky enough for their parents to fornicate and plop them out on american soil. That is how they became citizens.

I think if you want to live in this free country than you should follow our laws or go back to where you came from because there is some reason you wanted to come over here for and laws are what keeps us going !! LEARN OUR LAWS LEARN OUR LANGUAGE !! Massachusetts is starting to do immigrant run through and we will have some empty apartments soon. It's about time

Now my thoughts **got a little teary eyed there SORRY**.

I think it is FANTASTIC. I in no way shape or form think that illegal crossings should be allowed or condoned. WOW.....just think how that "hypes" up the minuteklan.......I DON'T need that....more press....or God forbid....an accident on either side.

My stance has ALWAYS been "stop the flow".........so again.....thanks......WE ALL NEED EDUCATION EVERY NOW AND THEN......don't we........WE do right DAR?

Sounds like a good thing. Personally, I think a few machine-gun nests with patriots authorized to " do their duty", would solve a whole lot of illegal-immigration issues.
