i russell s duarte am searching for my dad , my dad goes by joe ,is real name henry duarte , we used to live in CA. on a farm near escondido where my mom lived and her parents lived their names( bud & lois armbrust my grand parents.)joe is hispanic.

Sounds like you have a tough job ahead of you. I sure hope you can find him. It must be so sad for you not to have your dad. I can't imagine. I have always been very close to my dad. Dads are very special people.

there are free ways as well. All geneology people like to help for "no fee" try www.cyndislist.com it will take you days to get through it but may pay off for you also try the roots web mailing lists (you have to subscribe for email - also free - last I checked)

first try your birth cert. so you have full name and age ( SSN#helps too but not necessary at times)and than try find people on the NET small fee .
