OK, this is a GOOD QUESTION.
The best place to find good MEN is a gym.
Also, many cities and towns have groups of single parents that meet other single parents.
And, join an association, a club, etc. There you will find a lot of good MEN.
The only guys you will find in bars are BOYS! And immature ones, at that.
Never a good idea to date someone from work. Always causes gossip. And you do not need those mind games!!

Through friends, church and by volunteering for charity. These are all a great source to find a decent guy: friends can filter out the undesirables and they know what you are looking for, a God fearing man is a rarity as well as a catch and finally a man who has enough compassion to volunteer for the less advantaged probably will also have some compassion left for you.

well, take the bars out of the search. Just drunks there. Church is a good place. Other wise, can't come up with a good place. I'm a single dad, not easy for me either.

The best way to meet people and not have to go through the whole bar scene is to join a gym or find a recreational club, boating club, etc. That is a good way to network. Good luck, hope you find someone who will make you happy!

Depending on your self esteem I would suggest taking a part time job in a spa type atmosphere. It is easy to tell a great deal about a person when you can observe how they treat themselves. Or, take a job in a grocery store. This way you can do brief "Check Outs" and then zero in on your selection.

In the church and book store or library you can find a good man anywhere you just have to be selective in how you choose one.To many women look for looks,money and cars, but if you look deeper inside a man you'll find a good one.

LOL, sry but looking at the bar is just a bad idea anyway - they're all drunk! I know, I go out all the time and I have two babies. Try meeting guys thru friends. And NEVER get involved with a guy from work - NEVER, please believe me on this one! Definitely try your friends and their b.f's friends, or guys they work with, etc. etc.

get out for a few hours a week in a activity that

We are everywhere out there. Look at my profile and questions. Most of my questions are about where I can meet you. Get out of the house. Go to parties and volunteer for charities. That is where you can meet decent people who will appreciate you.
