You're a plumber, and you spent $300,000 on a car? Are you compensating for a lack of plumbing equipment?

Hon, I am concerned that you feel like it is your car that defines you. It is no shame to being a plumber. You should be very proud. Not many people can handle the hard work or has the intelligence it takes. The car is very nice. The job and by the way money you make is nice. My stepfather is a plumber. He is very good man. I would have to see what kind of person you are before I would date you, but then I am in to decency not material things. Do not try to impress with material, that comes and goes, go for someone who will stand beside you regardless. Good luck and God Bless you in your search.

like someone said the lamborghini is not what makes the man, and there's hardly a way to attract a girl into a serious relationship, although it does add a nice touch, but i think that a girl that runs after money, or the car, is not really the best choice-if i was really into the guy and i thought there might be something serious between us i personally wouldn't look @ the car or the money- just the guy.

Neither car nor profession have any effect on your character. That's what matters in the end. The women who go for the man with the car or the job end up desperately unhappy years down the line.

Note to the above poster: awesome screenname, but you're cold.

Is not the car what really matter, is your attitude. If I am the girl who is going out with you. I think " Wow! He has to be a great plumber, if he can afford this car. He has to be doing a great job". But you have to be honest. If you just try to impress someone you are been dishonest with her and most important with yourself.

I would rather date a man who drove a chevy pick up but was not a plumber. Sorry, I don't mean to be insulting. To me, a man's career/profession is more important than the vehicle he drives.

Definitely. Being a plumber is an honest way of making a living. The lambroghini has great curb appeal.

Yes! That would be awful if a girl turned a guy down just because he couldn't drive. It's not about driving or looks, it's about the person. I have dated a guy that couldn't drive, and it was great.

I think you are trying to overcompensate for the fact that your a plumber with an expensive car. Yeeesh. When will men ever realise that fancy cars don't make the man?? To answer your question, no..

yes. not because i like guys with expensive tastes, but i don't discriminate based on job/car, etc.

my last boyfriend was a truck driver driving a beat up 88 ford pick-up.
the guy before that didn't have a car.
my current boyfriend works at a grocery store and drives a bmw.

it's all about how you feel about the person. if she's gonna base her decision on what your job is or what you drive, you don't want her anyway.
