I don't know if your eye will pop out, but I know someone who went blind in one eye from being hit in the back of the head with a golf ball

I would say, "YES". I know a girl who hit a shot, it deflected off of a tree, hit her directly in the eye and blinded her in that eye. She now wears a prosthetic eye.

I hit someone in the eye. One horrible moment. His eye stayed in it's socket, but he had to have it replaced, after going to the hosp.

Doubtful.
The worry would be "subdural hematoma", something with sedrious potential.
Google same to find out. Don't reckon you'll like what you see.
