Why is it, when we eat corn it's all chewed up, but when it comes out its whole again??

Corn comes out whole again because the outer layer of each grain of corn is too thick to digest that it is almost made out of natural plastic. So, when we eat corn, the grains should break down by chewing and the starch nutrient gets absorbed in our system. The outer layers are left undigested and filtered thru the large intestine as waste.

HA HA, the part you see in your poo is the skin. When you are chewing, the gooey part of the corn gets chewed, but the skin often stays intact. Isn't that gross?

that's because it actually is not all that chewed up as you may think. although it feels that way.... try chewing until you think that it is all chewed up, then spit all of it out, and you will be surprised at how little you have chewed the corn...
