If I help an old lady across the street, I'm thinking a dollar or two would be a nice tip.
I think it would have been a nice gesture if the guy I gave life saving CPR to at the pool had flipped me a twenty, if he was younger, a fifty would have worked.
Or the other day I gave this kid a paperclip in the lineup at the grocery. Again a perfect opportunity to recieve a gratuity.
Do people really feel so entitled that they would not bother rewarding my most excellent human kindness?

Well. I don't know why this is under Jokes and Riddles...But...I feel that people who help others without expecting anything in return are the people who still give this world some hope. Too many people out there want something in return these days. It is sad and pathetic. How would you feel if someone helped your mother and wanted something in return? I would have said you, but I believe we would all know the answer to that one. You would probably want something in return for helping others, but if someone helped you you most likely wouldn't even say thank you.
I suppose you probably would drive by the scene of an accident and just call it in and not stop to check if anyone was hurt, oh, or would you? And then ask them to give you money for your overwhelming gesture?? Get a life!!!

Well here is a joke about this kind of situation!

One day, a footy player died and went to the gates where he met god and god said: " Charles, what have you done to deserve the priviledge of heaven?". And the guy answered " Well, I've given 20 dollars to the cancer foundation, 20 dollars to the woman's mercy hospital, and 20 dollars to an old guy walking on the street"

god then said " Here's your 60 dollars, now go back to Hell!"

HE HE HE!
