Especially with regards to the Singapore context. In the first place, with digital cameras being so prevalent now, is it still necessary or was it ever practised in the first place?

No they do not. I have been at crime scenes indoors and out, and I have yet to see any chalk outlines. Do you think they do them on carpet and tile as well? How about when someone dies on bed or on a chair (not from natural causes)? Modern technology makes it unnecessary. I am unsure if the chalk outline was used in the past, but it is not now. Not here, anyway.

NO, they do NOT.

They cannot do anything that might change or destroy the scene. Even before digital cameras, they would take pictures and place markers and each marker would be something they found and then removed. The body would also have a marker.

Remember, there are times that the body is removed before it is dead, they don't ask paramedics trying to save the person if they could wait until after they drew the chalk outline to help the person. So, yes, sometimes they don't even have pictures of the body, just the scene.

My guess is that it is something TV and movies made up so that they would be able to convey a dead body without having to pay an actor to lie in the same position while everyone looked around them. Although I cannot say how it was done 50+ years ago for sure, I would doubt they ever contaminated a scene that way.

They don't use chalk outlines in real crime scenes. The chalk could alter any forensic evidence around the body.

I never did. . . . You never want to bring anything extra into a crime scene. and pictures of a crime scene with chalk would not be an accurate representation of the scene

The Christian God is about social administration no longer desire success. He replaced into created as an extension of the Judaic God - a God that replaced into created as a device for the corporation, identity and conformity of the historic society or the Jews - a society the position the Jews were a small human beings suffering in an quite complicated area of the international adverse to effective acquaintances and had to be strongly cohesive merely to proceed to exist. Edit1: "a majority of those "administration the a lot" arguments assume the individuals on correct of issues "created" a God that they themselves does no longer then be held in charge to. it quite is merely no longer the case with the Christian God." no longer unavoidably. you're assuming that the leaders of the society who create the god(s) could be hypocrites who merely prefer to administration society for his or her personal egocentric ends. which couldn't unavoidably the case. a pacesetter ought to create a god that embodies the regulations he/she believes in (and believes are reliable for society) and then "worship" the god in essence by ability of following the regulations at the same time as protecting the facade of real idea as an celebration to the a lot. in truth, what better appropriate thanks to have the autocrat's or the oligarchy's personal options of how a society could be prepared perpetuated than to ascribe those options to a transcendent being(s). Edit2: "a number of you improve a competent element about harsher religions. Harshness in and of itself does no longer recommend truth." Now you're enticing specially pleading because your thesis is shot. Your unique thesis replaced into that a made up God will be a lenient god amenable to our needs and whims. because that it quite is demonstrably no longer the case, as exemplified by ability of the made up god of the Muslim faith, somewhat of merely admitting your thesis failed, then you definitely invoke particular pleading of in essence putting forward "oh, yet it really is diverse".
