try a restaurant supply place.

you sound pretty creative, though, maybe you could take a pattern to a copy store (in denver we have kinko's) and have them cut some out for you...

There are several large food and packaging companies around. Sysco, FSA (Food Services of America), Bunzle are a few. They serve restaurants, hospitals and all food service companies. Try to ask your favorite restaurant or grocery store if they will special order supplies for you. If they are at all customer service oriented, they should oblige, though they may add a surcharge for their profit margin. You may be ordering in bulk, like a case or two, but if you're making mini pies, I'd imagine tasty business would be swift! I've worked in restaurants, grocery and hospitals for over 12 years, and have always enjoyed the "special" orders that customers appreciate.

the best way to search for blank cardboard boxes is to locate a large housing area, walk down the alley, lift the lids on all the trash cans and look in!

you need to look for a wholesaler of paper products. Maybe you can find a burger box or a smally pizza box. You could also simply contact McDonald's corporate offices and ask them who their supplier is.
