is this sentence correct? Sie essen Nahrung. (they will eat food)

kslnet is right... Never heard anyone say Nahrung... It's just Essen... but you wouldn't use that again in a sentence, just sounds weird.

It's grammatically correct, but I've personally never seen "Nahrung" in a sentence like that. "Sie essen" is sufficient (what else would they eat?).

Also, "Sie essen" is in the present tense, so it's literally "They eat" or "They are eating." If you want the future tense, you should say "Sie werden essen".

Sie werden Nahrung essen.
OR:
Sie werden Nahrung zu sich nehmen.

The second option is more likely to be used! The first one is grammatically correct as well, but sounds weird.

BTW "Sie nehmen Nahrung zu sich" would be the present tense.

They WILL ... that's the future tense, so you should use the verb WERDEN

Sie werden Nahrung essen.
