what are the laws about leaving home at 17 in louisiana?

this doesnt have anything to do with selfish reasons like sex or just wanting to be free some people actually have a bad homelife and dont just ***** for the sake of it

i live in canada so don't know about your laws there - some homes aren't worth staying in though it is also very smart to have something to go to so you don't end up hurt out there as well.
get a job, stay in school so you at least have a high school diploma to take with you and start saving your money.
and know you are a good and worthwhile person whether your parents are able to love you or not.
also think about your strengths and what you are good at - nurture those abilities and see what kind of work you can find that will utilize them.

Why would you want to do something like that? Do you have a good education, money, or a place to go? Are your parents dealing drugs or beating you? If not, then stay home and finish growing. Leaving home is not all that people say it is. Leaving simply to have sex with a lover is a lousy reason. You will only be used and abused. Think about it. You may also do research in the internet.

have you finished high school, got a diploma? Do you have other family close by? Are you going to leave the state? Laws might be different just east or west of you.

in the usa need to be 18 . little know fact ;u are legally considered 18 1 day and 6 months after yr 17th birthday. so, go if you have a job and can take care of yourself

I left home at 17. I joined the Army. I did have to have my parent's signature on the enlistment papers.
