i would definatly layer it! that will thin out your thick hair and it will be much lighter and more manageable. layers that are face framing will flatter your face. length is still good. i would get a good trim, maybe an inch or two off. side-swept bangs might be for you as well. many people have been getting them lately and they look very cute, especially for summer with a cute headband or put up in a pony or messy bun. beachy waves are totally in as well and that will keep you away from the staightener for sure. just scrunch wet hair or braid it when it's wet and when it's dry it'll be cute. as for color... i have no idea if you would want to change that... but hopefully this give you some ideas. good luck!!! :)

Start out with small changes. Then if you want to go shorter, then do it. If you want to change the color, then do it. I think the reason people have a tough time committing to change is that they go to drastic measures. Look at magazines before you choose, and see if you can find something you like. A picture is easier to duplicate than a description. There is even software out there that allows you to try out hair without messing with your own. You just import a picture. If all else fails, try an angeled layered cut with medium length, side swept bangs. If you have fine features and are short, go between shoulder and jaw length. A good stylist can take out some of the bulk and leave you with some good body.

OK to spice up your hair get some colorful highlights (blue, orange, red, black) or regular highlights but if you go for colorful hair dye the tips, streaks, or globs the three best ways to color!!!
