Personally I wouldn't do it until I spoke with a vet b/c I have no clue if the floride would do anything. But to be honest if you call petsmart and ask they probabaly carry something for dogs. Also if you have a large dog, I doubt once would do anything

No, it is not. They cannot spit the toothpaste out like we can. It would be very harmful to the animal.
The toothpaste on the market for dogs does not require them to spit it out and it also continues working even after you are finished brushing.
I also learned in training classes for our puppy, that if you do not brush your dogs teeth at least once every few days, the bacteria from their gums gets into their blood stream. This can take up to 2-3 years off of your animals life.

No, it is not good. There are things in people toothpaste that dogs should not swallow. They have dog toothpaste and there are pads to rub across the teeth.

I read an article about this in a magazine mailed to me by my animals' vet. No, is the correct answer. However, I believe you can find the toothpaste a little cheaper somewhere like Walmart or other discount stores.

No. There is special toothpaste for dogs. Or, if you don't purchase that, then you can always give them hard toys/bones to chew on.

NO DO NOT. It's toxic just like it is to us. Go to your vet or PetCo and they have proper toothpaste. Don't give them Greenies either because they don't digest properly and can cause problems.
