It really depends on the brand. If you want to sell on the internet and your balls are of average brand, you're looking at 50-80 cents per ball. (This includes shipping) For top brands, you could get up to a dollar or more depending on the quality. These would Pro V1's and other similar balls.

If you own a pro shop and are trying to sell used balls there, the average going price is $1/ball.

There are many variables involved in pricing used balls. I would recommend going to sites such as http://www.usedgolfballs.com and http://www.lostgolfballs.com to check out going rates for your specific balls.

DO NOT buy used golf balls. That is an awful idea. You can buy cheap brand balls that are new for cheaper. Even if the used balls look in good shape, each time the ball is hit, it loses compression. You can buy 15 top-flight balls for 9 dollars. If you are that desperate for used balls, just go into the weeds and look for them at any golf course. I've found up to two dozen balls in a single round before.

The brand of the ball determines its worth, for example: it is not unreasonable to ask a buck a piece for some top end Nike balls which cost around $40 a dozen. But X-Outs that cost $8 for 24 new aren’t even worth a quarter used.

I sometime will buy used golf balls, I generally pay $3 for 6 balls and they are medium to top end balls like Nike, Sallanger, Titelest, etc.

Depend on the brand and any marks at all on the balls.
Check out Ebay to see what dif. balls sell for.
