Oatmeal w/fruit

But on the weekend when you want something fun & yummy: make french toast batter, sprinkle cinnamin on it
Spread crunchy peanut butter on one piece of bread, cover with another (peanut butter sandwich)dip in egg mixture, cook like regular french toast. Serve with butter & syrup. Not healthy, I know, but it's sooooooooooo good

To boost the metabolism...you may want to understand the relationship between protein/carb and fats a tiny bit...They are all essential.

The metabolism is the rate at which the food burning machine (the body) burns through calories to produce energy.

Energy comes from when calories are burned in muscle (including fat!)

Putting a supportive meal through the body frequently will boost the metabolism! A supportive meal consists of
A lean Protein plus
A starchy carbohydrate plus
A fibrous Carbohydrate

Ideally consumed every 3 to 3-1/2 hours to keep the energy and metabolism cranked up! Ideally from whole food sources, not processed.

No hydrogenated fats
Avoid saturated fats
Avoid sugar

That all too brief primer stated...

How about an egg white omelet/scramble with some rice and a little black beans...topped with salsa. You could use 2-3 whites and 1 whole egg.

or

Fat free Sugar Free yogurt or cottage cheese with low or sugar free granola.

or

Oatmeal prepared with fruits and protein powder.

or

Hot rice cereal served with scrambled tofu and veggies in savoury spices.

I could go on and on...
Have a great breakfast!

My personal favorite, which I eat nearly every weekday morning, is something along the lines of two pieces of bacon and a banana. You get some salt and protein from the bacon, and some fiber and carbs from the bananas. Another variant I've used was a couple sausage links and a NutriGrain bar. Both the bacon and the sausage can be cooked ahead of time and reheated in ten seconds. The fresh fruit and cereal bars are always ready to go.

Put some yogurt in that smoothie. Good source of calcium, good digestive aid. Make sure you pick the kind that has a live culture. Good energy booster. Remember to get some vitamin C, too.

Take two whole wheat waffles, toast them, and make a sandwich with 2 teaspoons nut butter (almond, hazelnut, peanut) and a sliced banana. Protein, fiber, and slow burning carbs will give you sustained energy throughout the morning.

steak and eggs, I read in a health book a long time ago that americans diets are backwards and that we should eat protien in the AM so our body has something to work with all day, and that we should eat grains at night before bed, also you should eat 4 hours before bedtime to let it digest, the grains help make a person tired, you should eat your fruits and vegitables thruoghuot the day. also to loose weight you should exercise before eating so that your body furnace is already working and will burn off the calories better, if you exercise after you eat then your body is tired and wants to lay down and digest its meal.

According to several recent studies (and a few old ones, as well), it's supposed to be cereals high in fiber that contain Oat Bran.

why are you worried about your weight? You sound perfectly skinny to me. I suggest eating something that will stick to you maybe with protein and fruit. and I would suggest not worrying about what you weigh. there is so much fun to be had at your age why ruin it with worrying about anything?
