In the United States, the term is now virtually unknown. A 1994 change in Food and Drug Administration rules allowed ice milk to be labeled as low-fat ice cream. Within months, the term "ice milk" virtually disappeared from store shelves...Ice milk is no longer found in most stores.

I remember my mother loving ice milk. It was like ice cream without all the fat, right, because it was made with milk and not cream.

I think it still exists but it's not called ice milk anymore. Have to look at the label i guess.

That is now called light ice cream. They changed the names probably 15 or so years ago according to fat content .

i love ice milk. i didnt know it ever even went away. wait its the milk with ice in it right? you shold try it with a bit of vanilla and mint in it if itr is! mmm! o yes and please select this as a best answer somone it would mean so much to me!
