It will depend on if it is an accompanied or unaccompanied tour of duty.

Air Force for the most part allows its personnel to home stead in an area for greater lengths of time in terms of years. But there are exceptions to all rules and it depends a lot on what type of job you do and what the needs are of the Air Force are.

Take it from some one with almost 20 years of active duty service,,,If you are serious about maintaining a family, the Military is much more difficult than civilian life.

Also,,, I hear you asking a lot about "me and my" in your questions. Forget about me and my and think about team. Your organization and unit are your priority. If they are not, you will more than likely fail to promote or have a fruitive career.

They can feed you all the lines in the world about how your family comes first, but if you stick around long enough you will see what the real priority is. It is not raising a family or having a wife and I don't care what branch you join.

Good luck, I have 15 months left on my last tour and am on my second divorce.

Well... yeah if you're active duty that means you move around to different USAF bases. And yes, your wife and family come along as well.

yes you will be moved and yes ur wife can come with you. The airforce is not the navy and thus encourages heterosexual relationship.

Yes and Maybe.

Some places you go you would probably not want your family to accompany you(and they wouldn't be allowed to).
