well I think that used cars are always going to be "shitty". But I've had the worst luck with fords (but they were all used). I've owned a ford tempo, a ford windstart, a ford taurus, a ford festiva. I've also owned a pontic (don't remember what it was...a pontic though) a saturn, and two other cars I don't know the make or model.
I've got to say that the little festiva was a great little car, until my sister drove into a tree. That car had issues (like the steering wheel being almost impossible to turn...if you didn't know how to work it...the honk working when it felt like it...and the radio worked but the display didn't). But trees don't forgive and i guess neither do cars.
Right now I'd have to say my saturn. I hate the car, but it gets me where I need to go and it takes what i give out. And I'm a rough driver....I like a car that goes...and the gears are getting hard to shift...grrrr
The worse car I've ever owned would be all of the fords except for the festiva. Fords don't seem to last very long. My brother-in-law bought a ford brand new about 4 years ago and its already starting to fall apart.

The worst vehicle that I have ever driven was a car that I had to borrow from a friend of mine when the one that I had had broken down. It was an old AMC Hornet, if I remember correctly, and the heat did not work in it. To make matters worse I was borrowing it right in the coldest months of our Minnesota winters so every time I had to go somewhere I was freezing my butt off in the the car. But I guess in the end it was better than nothing for if I did not have that car to use I would have been walking.

Worst: Dodge Omni 2 door. My neighbor used to tease saying it looked like a pregnant roller skate. Then the shifting unit would come undone and you had to crawl under the car pop it back in place. Praying it didn't come undone again. It sucked!
Best Chevy prizm. Great gas mileage! Small and comfy.

When I was 16 I wanted an Opel GT, they were cool cars. My dad instead bought an Opel alright, a 1963! Ahhhh! I had to learn how to use a stick and it was a complicated one too. I ended up hating the car and didn't want it.

Best car - a Honda CRX that isn't made anymore. It was too small and didn't have much power, but I would get 60 mpg on the highway.
