I have been told that we have them living in the creek behind our home. I have seen LOTS of holes around there but have not seen anything. How big are they? and are they any harm?

They are typically mean in the wild. Habit-traps usually get them with bait of apples and peanut butter.

they look like big rats

start at the yahoo main page (www.yahoo.com)

at the search box, type in "muskrat"

choose "images" from the tabs above the box

click the "search" button

you will see dozens of nice muskrat photographs
