Folks, I had been on a healthy diet the last 6 days, tomorrow being a sunday, can I sin by eating my fav food (high cal) and skip my exercise routine and freak my diet out?

Absolutely you can. In fact it's important for you to have that sin once a week because your body will adapt to the usual run of the mill you will do and it needs a shake up or else you'll plateau.

I have "J" days every single week without a miss and I've lost 42kg and am now at 7% bodyfat. And I tell you this...there is no church on earth that could help me when I have those 'sin' days each week cause I go all out.

I've made a website with some basic health information and am always updating it if you wanna check it out. It's got some useful stuff there. It's free so I'm not trying to sell anything so do not fear.

The site is www.freewebs.com/sfhsnz/

Check it out and let me know if you would like anything on there and I'll do my best.

Good luck

karl

If it will help you stay on your diet again next week, then go ahead. Believe me, I know what you're going through. But if eating what you crave JUST ONCE A WEEK helps you through the next week, go for it. Better to eat that one thing on Sunday than give up on Monday and be out of control the whole next week. Call Sundays your "reward day". It may slow your weight loss down a bit, but in the long run it will be worth it..

Why not only indulge a little bit. Have only a bit of your fave food? Why throw away a whole 6 days of progress for one crazy day? If you don't completely deprive yourself, you wont have such a hard time. Keep up with your exercise program, once you slack off it becomes much easier to do it again, and again.

It is such a good question to ask the previous day. Forget about Sunday. Keep asking the question everyday. You will see tomorrow never comes. And you stay healthy.

Diet = Deprivation. Consider it a change of lifestyle. So, instead of denying yourself what you want, figure out a way to satisfy your cravings while maintaining your healthy ways.

It doesn't hurt once a week to have a treat and enjoy it.
The very next meal go back onto your plan.
If you tell yourself that you can't have it,it makes you want it all the more.
That's when you get into real trouble.

Sure.
You will pay for your sins though.
Maybe sin a little instead of a lot and then you can stay on top.
