i know how you feel. i am gothic and all my buddies think i worship satan, while i really am a hardcore Christian. obviously your friends dont know what satanism is. just tolerate them for a while and they will eventually be convinced.

This saddens me... I once had a Catholic friend who people teased and called a Satanist. She got a very low respect for Christians and no longer even believes in God. Her life went down after that... she dropeed out of school 2 years later, is now married at 17 and is pregnant... we don't talk much anymore. I am not saying it is all because of them.... but it could be partly related. Please please do not take it to heart. You know the truth. And these are your friends? You might also need new friends. Hope I helped : - ) good luck

One, they don't sound like the greatest of friends to start with. Two, it does not matter what they think of you, it only matters what God thinks of you. I would reconsider these "friends". Also, I would take a look at how you are living your life. How you carry yourself tells a lot about you, and if you aren't careful about how you carry yourself the wrong impressions can be made very easily. Anyways, keep your chin up. If they don't want to believe you then don't try to convince them anymore just know in your heart the truth and stick to it.

Maybe you should ask yourself if you convey that image to an otherwise naive and simple-minded mindset. Perhaps you have a "blind side" (we all do have them) that keeps you from seeing yourself as others may see you. If the mirror fails your scrutiny, then perhaps you should ask for some honest "feedback" from your friends. I can't help but wonder if this question isn't but a contrivance to get attention from those with a need to help unfortunates such as yourself. Lose the body piercings and inverted pentagon tattoo... that may work wonders.

I have to ask what you are doing to give your friends that impression? People who really know you and DON'T believe that you are a satanist are the people you really should hang around with. Be the best person you can be. Birds of a feather flock together.

I can't really help you unless you have a definition of what you are.
Are you an atheist?(don't believe in God) Or do you just like to dress Goth? You should ask them why they believe that you are a satanist.

If you keep telling your "friends" that they are mistaken and you are NOT a satanist, and they insist on disbelieving you; then dear heart they are NOT your friends. Friends accept you for who you are and only try to change your behaviour when it is dangerous to yourself and others. Why not invite your friends to join you in whatever type of spiritual or religious practices you participate in. that way they would know for themselves exactly what choice you have made for your beliefs. Good Luck and bless.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but really you can. I've met people that give me the "willies" (can't think of a better term), just by looking at them. Then I find out that there's something bad about them- they're abusers, liars, etc....
If your friends thing you're a satanist, then there's a reason. If you can, ask them why they think that way, then (if you're willing to), change it.

Take a stand for Christ and invite them to church with you probably a good full gospel one where they speak in tounges and cast out evil spirits then see what they say about that.

There must be a reason they don't believe you.
I know my friends will stand up in court and testify I'm a Christian, just by my life as they've seen it. So why won't your friends believe you?
