ok, guys, which do u feel is more important: looks or personality? would u, lets say, want a girl with not so good looks, but a very cool and chill personality, or a hot and sexy girl whos, well, sort of an airhead?

i would like the guy to have a good personality cause i should be dating them for who they are not what they look like..the relationship would go no where if it was only a physical attraction

want for what? If it's a one night stand or a piece of arm candy for the evening, guys are going to take the most physically attractive girl that will have them. But if they want something that will last, they slowly start to realize that looks might make ya hard, but there will be a time when she dont got the looks, and you cant get it up, and all you have left to do is talk to each other, and they dont want conversations with an airhead their whole life.

I'm going out with a kinda chunky girl, but that does not matter to me. I am with her because of the way she makes me feel when I am around her. I could be having the worst day of my life and just by looking at her or talking to her I feel like there is nothing wrong.
As time passes by, looks start to fade away and the only thing that is left is the love for each other.

Personality of course. Consider this though,
Would you have a guy w/a nice personality and super bad BO, or the same who's a complete slob? Would you even think to kiss an elephant man, or someone with an incurable rash? GROSS! Looks go with age, but there are somethings you just have to be picky about, wouldn't you say?

A good number of people would prefer both. However, in my opinion, personality is always more important. You see, when dating, you are trying to assess the qualities that you would like to have in a person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. Going for looks strictly may not be what you want later on; sure its fine for the moment, but not for the long run. Personality is something which you can always relate to. If you love someone for his or her personality, that means that you connect with that person, and that you might be able to spend your life with them. Personality is the most important quality in a person because it means that that person means a great deal to you for who they truly are.

Looks are not every thing personality means a lot at least to me
when i met my wife she had to daughters and a great personality
12 yrs and another daughter later she still puts up with me and I am a real joke.Oh ya I think she is beautiful.

It all depends. Both play a factor. Personally I look at personality first and then the physical appearance.

Depends...if she's not that attractive but has a good personality..then that woudl be ok. I wouldn't date a hot girl with a crappy personality...because i cant deal with that [short tempered]. And i honestly wont date someone that I dont find attractive...i'm perfectly fine with who i'm with right now =]...but anywho yeah.

in the perfect world I'd like a hot girl who's nice but that usually isn't the way it is is it. so I'd rather a girl who's not so good looking but who's a nice person
