It is perfectly safe to store it overnight.
If you would like to keep that freshly made color, cover it with plastic wrap.
Do not just cover the container.
Make sure the wrap contacts the contents , that wat no air can get in and discolor your creation.

YES...you can assemble the entire dish, cover and refrigerate over night. Pull it out of the frige an hour or two before going into the oven, then bake. This is one of those great convenience foods from the 1950's that never faded away

yes. Although, if you have not baked it off yet I would wait and do that tom. just prep ingred. tonight in baking dish then pop it in oven 30-35 min before you go tom.
