Sometimes they're smelly,
Sometimes they're loud,
Sometimes they follow you,
Like a nasty green cloud,
They can clear out an elevator,
Or make bubbles in your bath,
But even as I'm older,
They still make me laugh,
They can be silent and deadly,
Or a loud and fruity tone,
But why is it that others,
Smell way worse than my own???

farts are smelly. no i dont think it runs in your family. the smelliness of farts depends on the foods you eat and other things that go on inside your body

flatulance is not genetic nor heriditary. it has to do with the digestive system and what they are running thru it.... maybe that part of your family has a similar diet , making thier "farts" seem similar in thier power to kill.

i could be somewhat heriditery because of the release of enzymes in the body but the smell is caused by anerobic (spelling) bacteria in the body that releases methane

well i think it all depends on what you eat because your food digesting is what releases gas into your intestines...maybe they are a little lactose intolerant...my mother in law is and GOD can she leave some nasty smells!!!
