It all depends on who liked him first and if the two of you shared that information together before you started seeing your boy.
Now, if you are seeing him and you haven't shared that info with your friend then I'm wondering why. I would think that one would share with her friend if she has nothing to hide…right?

Yes. Let me ask you this, how would you like it if your friend decided to go out with someone that you liked for years (even if your friend hasn't liked said guy for that long)? Not too good? Of course not! So how could you do that to her and call yourself a friend?

no but if hes not interested in her hes free game. if shes really crazy about him she should have spoke up so I say first come first serve. id say no you are not a backstabber

Well it depends, did your friend go out with them??
If not I'd say no. You should talk to your friend though and make sure she understands that you like the guy to. You need to make her understand that. If she does then your solid!
But if she had previously gone out with the guy...heck no

hi some people say if u like the same person your friend likes it's backstabbing. But think about it on your friends side.What will she think!!
