I am 43 and just spent a year and a half with a woman who convinced me her love was real and true. I was single for 5 years before she met me. She did me wrong recently. Not by the break up, but by what she did against me before the relationship ended. My heart is torn. This is so difficult to endure. I know this is pathetic but I thought I may hear something form someone that may help me through another night.

Dealing with having a broken is always tough. I would suggest doing something that would get your mind off the person. Try picking up a hobby or something of that nature.

If that doesn't work, try thinknig about another woman to ease your mind off the past woman. Get back into the dating game and see whats around. Most likely you will find someone better, but sitting around and moping will not help at all!

Take action and keep your self and mind busy!

A broken heart is one of the worst feelings but you will get over it.Get a new outfit, treat yourself to something you really like, look up some old friends. It's not pathetic to feel this way we all have at one time or another.I was in love with a man who nearly destroyed my life, when I saw him I turned into a "blithering idiot"I did some of the stupidest stuff you could ever image,I thought I couldn't live without him.He left and finally died and after a while I realize what a fool I was and I don't care a thing about him. This pain will ease with time, you just have to keep yourself busy.look in the mirror and see your are a reflection of the almighty and worthy of being loved and move on.Good Luck

Breaking up is really hard, it causes too much tears and too much heartaches...that's why they call it falling in love..it hurts. But you will heal try to do something that you are interested in and give more time to it. Give more time to yourself, you never had it when you were with her...exercises make yourself feel good and look good and who knows your market value might go up and you might be able to get someone..you will love you truly..it is never too late to fall in love again , but do this when you are really over her, it would be unfair to the person if you are not over your ex. and having a relationship right away is not the answer. You will get over this, nothing is impossible it is not like the whole world turned their back on you. or like you don't have a life...there is more to life than whats meets the eye...Hang in there.. things cannot be worse as it is ..it will be better...love yourself first.

I'm sorry. It will get better so hang in there. I don't know why love is so hard! Do you have a friend or someone to call and talk to? That usually helps.

I'd like to say time heals all things, but that isnt working for me. Good luck. I'm sure you'll get some assholes who will make fun of you here, but there's people who care too. Do I count..?

You suffer because you're attached.... in particular, to the things she did to you. And because you're attached to her. Naturally this happens, and now is the time to let go of all that.
