There is a buddhist monastery where I live. I was wondering if all buddhist monasteries would allow you to join, unconditionally, or if they would possible refuse based on space limititations, etc...

I don't think they would refuse any one who had a rudimentary understanding of Buddhism and could make the elders of the monastery believe that you had an altruistic motivation for wanting to become a monk.

From what I have heard , they are pretty accepting. I have had the same idea a few times. If monks could still have sex and I was a bit more comfortable with some of the esoteric Buddhist ideas, I would do it. Sometimes when a holy person just walks past me, I feel my sadness just lift. I have noticed that when Buddhist monks have walked near me a few times. Not every time.

I think being a monk needs to sacrifice a lot, but I am not really sure how that works but, you have to free your heart of any hatred
