I'm not sure that Scientology should be seen as a religion so much as it is more of a support group. The media has had a great time with them...but like most things, I think that the media got it mostly wrong.

I don't know the fundamental beliefs of scientologists but I do know what the scriptures say about science. 1 Timothy 6: 20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
