He is Male. His Dad is 8.5lb, his grand father 7lb his mother is 12lb. I have been looking for a "weight Calculator" online but have been unsuccessful. The vet seems to be able to estimate and I am wondering how? and if there is information out there that I can acess without going to the vet...

I am specifically looking for an indicator as to average growth rate for this breed of dog. For example Vet said that his final weight would approx be double that of his weight at 12 weeks.

No one out there can tell you exactly what your pups weight is going to be. It depends on so many other things as well. Right diet, whether he gets neutered or not....best thing to do is wait and watch! I would GUESS about 9-10 lbs.
