This does work over time, you can swish Hydrogen Perioxide in your mouth for at least two minutes a day, or more often.
Do not swallow it in any way not even a tiny little drop. It burns your stomach worse than heartburn. Don't ask me how I know.
This also makes your mouth real dry.

Brush three times a day, stay away from coffee/sodas/etc that will stain teeth, there is the britesmile option a lot of dentists have now that uses light to whiten them, there's sonic toothbrushes, use mouthwash, floss, etc.

Brush with baking soda and salt, lubricated by vinigar.

OOOOOhhhhh that's good. Baking soda for the binding properties, Vinigar to etch the tooth, and salt as an abrasive.

It should work? That is a pretty viable alternative.
It's almost like a margarita. with salt and lemon.

Rembrant and/or Listerine/Crest rinse -- daily. I use this stuff all of the time, it's w/o much effort, pretty mild, yet works.
