We have no more room without hurting others.
We have to settle the problems here first.
And others don't like it.

The main point of the immigration debate is that most people completely miss the main reason why the come to the US. The main reason they come is that they need to find work and there usually is no where for them to work in their country. Most people don't actually realize how bad it is in their country. The solution to this is to bolster up the Mexican economy so that these people don't have a reason to come to the US and therefore will stay in their own country.

Immigration isn't a controversy - unlawful immigration is. the only 'difficulty' that has arise, and the only reason any charges have been drawn up in Congress, are to handle the administration of our border (conserving illegals out) and to establish what to do with the predicted 12million illegals already right here. the techniques are deportation (this is, making them pay for their crime against united states of america) or forgiving them and allowing them to alter into electorate (this is, approving of queue leaping and unlawful acts).

Good question, and I'm going to answer it in a way you don't expect.
The heart of the problem isn't being discussed either for, against, or to be amended, repealed, or on the lips of anyone in this silent conflict.
The heart of the matter is the civil rights law. That is what gives illegals all of their power. Bilingual Education? Civil Rights. Social Services? Civil Rights. Protect our border - Civil Rights (and civil rights groups are right behind the minutemen making sure they don't break any laws). And so forth and so on.
I highly doubt the black population fought hard for a law of equality that would enable a silent illegal majority to force them out of their homes like I listened on TV to some blacks explain in LA.
To empower our citizens, and to weaken her enemy's that law must be amended or repealed. It cannot be done without the consent of blacks - who by the way fought to live under the same constitution as the rest of us, and the Mexican colonization seeks to have us set aside and live by their rules instead.
That's the heart of it. America's laws make it illegal to protect ourselves at home and allow La Reconquista to suceed.
Now what are our citizens going to do about it with a government that doesn't represent us on this in November and every election after that - I think we need bette politicians, and the call crys out from America's spirit right now to come forward, and let our eagle fly free once more. Never ever let another sovergn nation shoot her down.
I will not stand to change our pledge of alleigience to 'one country divisible' from 'one country indivisible'. There's alot more here at stake than anyone knows yet.
One last note: To the person who opposes our soverngty and supposidly reported me to authorites: If your watching me you know that America is Sovergn, if she falls, so do you. The Mexican flag hasn't been raised up yet in my neighborhood, so the first amendment still stands.

The main point of interest is that there is an enormous amount of illegal immigrants here now!! They do not pay taxes, they are taking citizens jobs because they work for pennies, they commit a high amount of crime, alot of drugs come in from borders and sold to our children, they can steal your identity and mooch off of the system, and most of all NOW IT IS ILLEGAL!!!!

The main point, aside from the obvious terrorist threat is our domestic government which refuses to enforce the laws previous Congresses have passed and previous presidents have signed. But this is an election year, so they are blowing smoke up our skirts by pretending to be doing something.
Both political parties must really think we are all stupid.

Many intersting answeres, I must say.
Cut to the chase. If we don't protect (USA) our borders and our way of life from those who would come here sucha as they please, then we are finished as a sovereign nation. No more Amercia.
We have to reverse this situation (remove illegal parties), perhaps over a period of time, but it must be reversed.
