I understand that the prophet married a woman that was 6 years old.However,he waited for her to reach the age of 9 before having sex w/ her.!!Wasn't that kind of him?

There are difference of opinion of scholars regarding the age of Aisha pbuh at the time of her marriage with Prophet Muhammad pbuh., some say 9 , Some say 12 and some say 15. The exact age is not confirmed. Like the scholars of Christianity had difference of opinion regarding the age of Mary pbuh at the time of birth of Jesus pbuh, some say 14 , and some say 16.
Aisha pbuh was reached at the age of puberty when she married prophet Muhammad pbuh. Islam says that anyone can marry when he or she reaches his or her puberty. Prophet Muhammad pbuh married with Aisha pbuh by her will. A’ishah was most pleased with this marriage. Her parents were very pleased with this marriage.
We are talking about 1400 years ago warm climate region. It should be noted that in the hot regions, it’s normal for a girl to attain maturity at a very early age. like INDIA, SAUDI ARABIA, AND COUNTRIES LIES ON EQUATOR. Even today in these countries, there are cases reported of early maturity. Thus the case is totally different from that which does exist in the cold regions where a girl does not attain puberty before 21 [Physicians maintain that the age of puberty in the hot regions normally ranges from 9 to 16].

Careful not to offend our Muslim friends, I got the almighty Yahoo Boot for that once upon a time.
However, being that I find absolutely no truth in Islam, only spiritual bondage and liscence to abuse, terrorize and enslave not just "unbeleivers" but also women of the faith and children, I can only say that I beleive it's true that he did have sex with a 9 year old child. How terrible. Excuse me now, as I go barf, check on my beloved daughter, and ensure that my weapons are cleaned and functional.

You don't know the correct story of the relationship between Muhammad and Aisha. Fortunately, she has been known as one of the greatest woman scholars on Islam and has spoken much about the man Muhammad was.

Mary Jesus/Yashu'a mother was 12! What you fail to realize is God made it that when a girl has her first period she is able to reproduce same for a boy when he can produce sperm. Its similar in Jewish laws boys are adults at 12-13 the same for girls. Now what!
