There is no real solid answer to the question. It depends on a lot of factors such as the loudness and duration of the noise, as well as how quickly your body can recover from such damage.
If it doesn't clear up in the next 12-24 hours, I would strongly urge you to seek medical assistance. It would be a good idea now, but you're obviously avoiding it.
If you weren't wearing ear protection, you may also want to have your head examined.

It depends on how loud the noise was and the health of your ears. When i was 17, I went to a KISS concert and could only hear ringing for 3 days!!

Our ears have tiny microscopic hair said as cochlea that are to blame for listening to noises. with the aid of loud noise in the rock live performance, the hair are overworked and develop into bent, dropping their function. The mind translates this because the ringing sound that you listen. because you've been in reality uncovered to the sound for a little while, the hair will heal and the ringing will bypass away. What you're experiencing now is non everlasting listening to loss. although, could you be uncovered to loud noises for a lengthy era of time, the listening to loss will develop into everlasting. So please, next time you bypass for a live performance or doing activities which have loud noises, positioned on ear defenders or ear plugs. they are quite accessible and allow you to take heed to needed sounds and earnings from the live performance with out the risky result. the positioning below supplies better ideas about ear defenders and helps you to purchase them.
