Being a woman myself,i am experiencing what you are feeling.Unable to provide as much for a woman or thinking of woman's well paid carreer and more cash flow is a big deal for any man to handle.I am married to one.being highly educated and bringing back salary doubled his makes him very unstable and worried that he is always not provide much.I have to alwaz assure him.So don't worry if you have a future with that person, he will look beyond everything.

It never bothered me; I think it's a good attribute to have a career and work to be successful. And to be honest, everything is so expensive now, a couple really needs 2 incomes for the most part.
However, I think a lot of guys would be a little intimidated thinking you wore the "pants". I even know a couple of guys that don't even want their woman to work...what is this? 1950?

I personally am so massively intelligent, far more so than most people I have ever met that I wouldn't even know about that kind of insecurity.
I had a buddy in college that was about as smart as me and I met one woman while working for the national park service that might have even come close, but that's about it.
I am also 6'4" and muscular.
What the hell do I care about your career. I am stunning on every side.
That is the God's honest truth.

Lv: some guy are that way. However, most guys are afraid that if a woman look good and have a good career, then they are likely to be trusted. you have to consider some men are very honest and need some one truthfully and have been hurt. before giving out your personal information tell him that you dont give that information on first time dates ie. then let him know later after you bet to know him. Personally I think that women with good jobs etc are hot. and their needs emotionally are more stronger.

I think he's intimidated and unsure about his career. Seeing how capable you are with yours makes him uneasy. Also, it depends on the guy's ego. Having a lot of money implies power. Some guys don't want to be close to someone who has more power than them. It makes them feel insecure.
I would accept the fact that my mate makes more money than me. For me, the fact that she can financially take care of herself means that she's sticking by me not out of need but out of desire.

He's just stupid! Any guy with half a brain would be thrilled to learn that their date was intelligent enough to hold a high paying job. If you are attractive to him (and I assume you are if you're dating) the fact that you have a lucrative job should be icing on the cake. If he has problems with this, it's a safe bet that he'll have problems with your independence etc... advice?: dump this loser and find someone who can appreciate the "whole" you.

If you only lived closer, I would date you.
The answer is....Yes, most men feel bad if they make less money than a women. Also some women hold it against a man in a marrage if she makes more than him, especially if they get in a fight, those things, said are just what break up a good relationship.
