Have you ever prayed for someting like the Bible tells us to ask for in Jesus name, and it didn't happen?

so if you pray 50 times for something reasonable to happen and 50% of the time it happens, then that shows that your God said "yes" and the other 50% your God said no? Interesting.

I was more looking for the Prayers that you prayed which did not come to pass?

Not apologetics and excuses for what happened.

Oh yes. The only thing you can do I have faith that what you prayed for didnt happen for a reason. Think back to when you were 15/16 years old and your boy/girl friend was the only thing you ever wanted. You would pray that you would get married and grow old together. Now look at you your married to some one that you love very much and you cant even remember the ex`s name. Just think if god would have answered your prayer.

Of Course. Everyone has asked God for something but simply didn't get it. The reason why they didn't get what they prayed for is because God said no. God only gives three answers: yes, no, and wait. If you prayed for something but haven't gotten it yet, then that does not mean that you will not get it at all. It just means that you should keep praying about, and he just might give it to you later.

We've all prayed for something. Please, God, let him love me. Please, God, let me get the job. Please, God, make papa well. These may (MAY) all be good requests. At least as we're concerned. Fortunately, there's a higher (much higher) power at work FOR US! Ever heard the adage: Sometimes God's best answer is an unanswered prayer.? It's true. The father knows what is best for us, even though it's sometimes bitter on our tongues or does not satisfy us. If you ask, in Jesus name, to win the lottery, and don't, is that God's fault? On the other hand, if God wants you to win the lottery but you don't have the one dollar quick-pick in your pocket? What then? Stop questioning your current reality and accept it for what it is! How do you know if tomorrow may be the first day of 37 years of quadrapolegia? Today! Today!

All the prayers that I have prayed in Jesus name have been answered. Sometimes, people fail to realize that the answer isn't always yes. Sometimes the answer is no, and sometimes it's not yet.

Praying isn't the same as making a wish. Some times what you pray for isn't what's best for you. So the answer to your prayer is "no".

Sure. Ever since I was in the 8th grade, I prayed that my friend David was the one I was going to marry. It didn't happen and I'm quite glad too. Otherwise I would not be married to the man of my dreams now.

Ps 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

So far there is still no peace in Jerusalem. But the command is to still keep praying for it.

God has always answered my prayers. I don't always like or understand his answer, but it is an answer.
I think if we pray for something and we don't get it, we assume God did not respond. If we are patient, we can see that God does answer our prayers.

To get my massage therapist into my life in a more serious way, more often anyway for sure.

To find a good job that I can tolerate if not partially enjoy, that can also tolerate me.

To get those damn mosquitos away from my NH property.

For my parents to be healthy.

For me to patch relationships with older siblings, their spouses and their kids.

More equal sharing of resources worldwide.

Many healthy happy sex partners for me to have happy fulfilling safe sex with.

To find a way to become a massage therapist.

To solve my financial worries, my wife's, my massage therapists, other people's also.
