Dreadlocks @ Home!?

I am intrested in getting dreadlocks. I would like to do this by myself, without a stylist. Is this possible? Could you tell me the process, step-by-step?? Any information would be helpful!

Knotty Boy products are good. It'll be easier and faster if you can get a friend to help you tho.

I started dreadlocks at home 5 yrs ago with a gel and I stopped because i couldn't stay 1mth without washing it!I really hope you'll be more courageous than I was.
