I just add a teabag to hot milk or water after it's been in the microwave for 1:30. Then I add Royal Jelly or Honey. Boiling water is a waste of time.

No, I grew up in the Maritimes. We drank a ton of tea. You should simply make sure that you have heated your tea pot with hot water, bring the water to a boil. Empty the pot and put in one bag for the cups of water plus one for the pot and pour the boiling water over the bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes. No fuss no muss.
I have drunk tea prepared this way since I was about 4 years old and I swear it won't be too bad at all.
For one cup,one bag this plus one for the pot is perfect.

Okay, my current method is as follows:
3 family size tea bags
boiling water
Put the tea bags in a clean empty tea pitcher. Add boiling water. Allow to steep until cool. Then add enough cold water to equal 4 qts. Add 1 1/2 cups sugar. Stir.
That's good ole KY ice tea.....or at least good ole me tea...:)

To make tea that tastes good only boil water twice. Once to pour some into to the pot, leave this water in for up to three minutes to warm the pot. Then boil more water, discard the water from the pot, place tea leaves or bag in the pot and pour in the required amount of water, steep for one to two minutes and your tea is ready. Add milk and sugar to taste.

I put water to boil, when its boiling add the tea and turn it off. Leave it 5 minutes and its done. I not only use teabags, but real cinnamon, peppermint, lemongrass, camomille, etc.

I boil it in a kettle, pour it in a bot and let the ball (or bag if I am Lazy) sit in it for about two minutes. I like it that way and its not too messy.
