What a bunch of wooses! Never read such a load of bo**ocks in my life. I had a c-section, left hospital the next morning and drove to the local supermarket to stock up. Never even stopped to think that it might be a problem. Nothing was a problem - sex returned to normal almost immediately and 11 months later I had my second child - by c-section. Guess what? I didn't hang around feeling sorry for myself that time either.
I guess everyone has a different pain threshold - some of us are just stronger than others!
You could be pregnant - it's unlikely that you'd have ovulated so soon but if you have got another baby on the way, good luck x

if u had a c-section you shouldnt be having sex for a least 6 weeks after the operation, specially only a week after that is just silly to be doing, you can cause sooo many problems and the doc would have said no sex no heavy lifting or anything like that for a least 6weeks. i personally don't know how you could have sex after a c-section must hurt like crazy.
and lisa is right Most women don't ovulate for at least a month after any birth

If you are still bleeding then no your probably not. I had a c-section and have no clue how you were able to have intercourse so soon. you should be careful its dangerous up until 6 to 8 weeks after child birth. once you are done bleeding you can become pregnant very soon they say your more fertile after that especially if you breast feed. I dont know why but thats what they say.

Well it's possible, unlikely, but possible.
You generally don't return to normal cycles until around 6 weeks after the birth of the baby.
Frankly though, its more unlikely that you will be having sex one week after a C-section!

Yes, it is possible. How you were even comfortable enough to have sex that soon is beyond me!
if you are in fact pregnant, you should talk to your Dr. as soon as possible. I am not sure what a pregnancy so soon after a C-section could do to your body. There are probably alot of risk factors such as a high chance for a uterine rupture.
Good Luck!

Highly unlikely as you will bleed for at least six weeks anyway and why would you want to have sex one week after giving birth, especially a c-section. It took me that long just for the scar to heal and I felt as if I got hit by a Mack truck!

Yikes - ur Dr is gonna kill you if you are pregnant. My idiot husband told my Dr we had sex before the 6 week release and he had a fit, I could imagine if I had gotten pregnant then.(I did 9 months later, but that is ok lol) Your body needs time to heal, especially after a C section with the scar and your stomach stretching again.

you can but would you have sex that soon after having a c-section. also when you have a c-section don't you have to stay in hospital a week after you have a c-section. so that means that the night you came home from hospital you had sex. your brave.

My question to you is, why would you want to have sex one week after having a c-section?. Don't you still hurt from being cut open?

No you can't. It is impossible for you menstrual cycle to return one week post partum. Beside ovulation occurs mid cycle (that is 14 days after a period in most women) so one week is definitely not enough time for your body to fully recover and be fertile again.
