My sister had cancer, I prayed for her to be healed. About a week later her condition worsened. 2 months passed and the doctor came back to us and said that there was no sign of cancer left in her. It was like she was healed overnight.

Well I'm an agnostic but I prayed for this girl coz she asked me to and next day she got help from someone and felt better but that could quite easierly have been coincidence.

Did u mind me sharing even though I'm not a Christian?

I prayed that I would have more opportunities to pray. It is one of the best witness and outreach things to ask friends and acquaintances "How can I pray for you this week?" And other little things, like when I felt down, I came across something in the daily Bible reading that applied directly to my situation; it was like that verse was waiting for me! One of the things I am most grateful for is the opportunity to share my faith here, to honor and glorify Jesus before some of the people who need Him most.

I prayed that God would help me to heal my marriage. I was on the brink of divorce and now we're talking about children and about making a preplan for when we die and are buried together. I thank God everyday for that answered prayer!

Two or three this week, but several a month! Mostly I pray for other. But I have been in need of late. So Redglory, I think you just hit my "pray for list" how about that. God is in charge!

every morning I wake up..I thank God for the air that I breath...for he is giving me everyday to make up my mistakes to others and give me a chance to be a better person. Ask God for giving me watchful eyes, presence of mind and attentive hands to drive to my work since I just got my license this week... He knows how much I love my daughter and my hubby and I will always cherish every day that I am with them....of course, thanks for the sweet sun shine...

One prayer is answered every day. My last prayer at nite is for one more day on earth to teach His word. The first thing when I wake up is thank Him for one more day.

None, I don't pray for myself, but for others and some of those prayers have been answered, for the good , I might add.
