It makes great tv and stuff, but actually.. there is no devil, and you don't have a soul to sell. But if all of that were really true, you do make an excellent point. It's kinda like running out and buying a "T" shirt that says Nike on it and giving them free advertising, while they pay some basketball player a million bucks to do the same thing.

OK know-it-all. Number one, God sent His Son Jesus, who came to earth as a man, taught old scripture and future holdings, and most important...died for mankind's sins! You could look the story up in any of the gospels (Matthew.,Mark.,Luke.,John), but you seem to be too busy.
Number two, you have to believe through faith that Jesus died for your sins (and pretty much everything else the Bible says), and ask Him to be your Savior, to guide you through life. You should rely on Him no matter what!
Number three, you pay the church tithes as you christian duty. It's a way of helping those who need God and He will reward you for small and big things when you arrive in heaven.
That is...if you drop this attitude.

Stop drinking and ranting in Yahoo! Answers so much. Go back to work and earn a buck like the average joe. The guys down by the railroad tracks and underneath the highway overpass would trample you to a bloody pulp for your job. Oh, and stop beating your kids so much, it's starting to give them a complex.

You give money to the church, and God will bless you with money back...and God did pay for your soul...did you sleep through Easter for the last 2000 years....in case you didnt know...Jesus died for you...thats pretty much paying for you. God gives you what you need, not what you want.

God already paid for your soul when he gave his only son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. I am pretty wealthy, but I didn't know happiness until I got to know Jesus as my Savior. All of my old wealthy friends are not happy. If anything, money makes you worry more on how to keep it, and how to make more. Even if you have all the money in the world, you will not have wealth until you know Jesus.

"I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst."
John 6:35

"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"
Romans 8:32

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne."
Revelation 3:20-21

"And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."
Revelation 20:10

Who would you rather follow? The one who wants you to sit on his throne with him, or the one who will be tormented day and night forever and ever?

Obviously you believe in Satan since you want to sell your soul to him. Think about this very seriously. Who would you rather follow? Christ or Satan?

dude in reality you just dont get it and you may never get it.
it has nothing to do with paying for teaching in fact most religions belive those are the ones who are untrue, piety look it up money is only part of it.and besides look on the bright side if you are poor(like me) at least someone cannot steal your identity and get rich..
