As a parent I would do anything to keep my children from being hurt. If plastic surgery would alter my child life in a way that would keep him from feeling the pain of people staring, kids laughing ang making fun and the pain of not being able to live life to the fullest I would probably be for the surgery. It would have to be a major deformity though for me to think it would be worth the pain of recovery on a child.

Only if the decision to have plastic surgery was that ultimately supported by the child or if it was medically neccessary. Children (and most adults) need to make that point that true beauty really does lie beneath the surface and that a book should NOT be judged by the cover!

If the the surgery would really make the child feel better, then yeah. But we all know the reasom plastic surgery is performed on soo many women, isnt how ugly they are, rather how the feel..In any case, I would support plastic surgery for anyone who wants it...its their body!

I think if it inhibits their true quality of life then maybe. But I also feel if it is just being different and not harming the child, it really should be something the child should decide. Imposing "outer beauty" on little kids is really a no no as it really already stresses out the fact that people are shallow. My daughter has two red spots on her nose, they are birth marks. I asked about having them removed then decided not to unless later in life she chose to. I tell her they are angel kisses and God made her special. She is a pretty little girl and nobody notices them because she doesn't even really.

Get plastic surgery in India.Plastic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including tummy tuck procedures through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.

Of course. All children should have the opportunity to look "normal." Being a kid can be hard enough, but being a kid who looks different can be a nightmare.
