Its like you are asking who came before "FIRST" in race.

I ask you , Who created "the one" who created God? and then so on ....There has to be some stop. Lets assume that this series is everlasting infinity. In this case, we wouldn't be here. But we are here, that means there is a stop with a being who is UNCREATED. It is difficult for us to imagine something with no end and no beginning. but it is impossible for us to imagine our Creator had a beginning.

Your question is like, my brother gave birth to a child, is it male or female? Its the Characteristic of male that he does not give birth. If he gives birth then he is not male. God is Eternal, because its characteristic of God that HE IS ETERNAL. If He is not eternal, that means He is not God.

God has to be Eternal then otherwise He would have a beginning. Suppose, we say God had a beginning, then there was a time when God did not exist. It means that he needed somebody else to make him exist. So there is somebody else who is God, not him. but as we agreed that there is only one God, therefore, there is no one else who make Him exist.

When we say that God cannot be born, we are also saying that a creator cannot becomes his creation, because creation means what is in need of a creator. To be a creature of God, mean there had to be someone to create you. So if God becomes his creation, it means now he is in need of a creator. And this is absudity! As we know, A creation is not eternal. An eternal being is uncreated. We can conclude that the one God who is uncreated, has to be Eternal.

It follows by logical necessity that if God is one, and if He is eternal, Then obviously He does not beget , Nor is he begotten. Because if He beget, then He will have a child and the child will have to be God-like. So there will then be two Gods. Since we agreed that there is only one God, you cannot have two. OR If he was begotten, that means he would have father. Then the father will be older than him and more eternal than him. and we cannot have one who is more eternal than "ETERNAL"

==============================...

"Say: He is Allah, The One and Only. "Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him."
[Quran 112:1-4]

THERE IS ONE CREATOR, AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS HIS CREATION. THATS IT. !!!

I've asked the same question . . . went on a life long quest to find the answer.

Man created the myths and stories surrounding God, that I'm sure of.

Creator is the pre-big bang singularity.

All of the information contained withing the present universe all rolled up in to a tiny point; omniscient.

Because there is no "here and there" before the big bang, Creator is everywhere; omnipresent.

All of the potential actions and reactions would have been contained in this point; omnipotent.

Our tiny little brains can muster up intelligence by using energetic pathways, electrical storms of the mind. This energy is present throughout the universe, therefore intelligence must be inherent to this universe. All of the energy in the universe was packed in to the pre-big bang singularity; all-knowing Creator.

As far as people claiming to know what God wants or needs to be happy? That is all superstition. No human can possibly fathom what an omnipotent being wants. Better yet, what could an omnipotent being possibly want or need, especially from lowly carbon units like us?

This is a very difficult thing for mortal beings like us to understand. The Bible says that God's lowest thought is higher than our highest thought.

Simply put, nobody created God. He has always been. He is the Ancient Of Days. That is one name that the Bible calls God. Psalms 83:18 and Exodus 6:3 tell us His name. Jesus (Michael the Archangel, his heavenly name) WAS created and was God's first creation and he used Michael as a master worker to help Him to create all other things which were created for Him and through him. The Bible calls Jesus The first born of all creation.

It is a hard question because we are mortals and have a birth and a death so it is very hard for us to comprehend anything living forever in the future and in the past which is exactly how God lives.

God is well known to be uncreated, infinite, eternal, all-powerful and all-knowing. God created "finity" from "infinity" and infinite creatures have a hard time understanding this infinity and eternity that is God.

In the Bible it says...........................
Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
God has always been and always will be.....
Its hard for us to understand but with faith we accept it....
God is a Spirit He is not flesh and blood as we are with the exception of His Son Jesus Christ who gave His life for us and rose again....I hope this helps...Later

This is probably one of the hardest things for people to understand (myself included). It is beyond our comprehension. God is the beginning and the end.

God is UNCREATED, he is self existent, it's hard for us to understand that when we have a tiny mini little human mind, by the way that is a question that you can save for when you go to heaven, so you can ask him yourself.
