You should research this chapter of the Holy Bible before jumping out there. Who is Gabriel in your world!? Read the History of the Levites and their Priestly duties in Israel. The Book of Levites is Leviticus that was written from that experience. Also read 2Peter the second chapter verses 1 thru 22, any translation of the Holy Bible you can undersatand.

No it wasn't. Leviticus comes from Latin "Liber Leviticus". Traditionally in the Old Testament books are cited by the first word. Leviticus deals with the distinction between the priesthood and Levites.

The book of leviticus was named after the tribe of Levi, the original priests of the hebrew god. The book explains the duties and ceremonies they were to perform.

Where did you hear about a demon named leviticus?

you have got a factor there. Now, the recent testomony epistles and Revelation do have verses that condemn homosexuality. (See Romans a million, yet in addition see Romans 2.) even however, is it available to make a great difference between a gay affair (gay fornication or adultery) and gay marriage? "they do no longer enable people to get married. They organize them to no longer eat particular meals. yet God created those meals." It does not say, "they do no longer enable particular people to get married." To my information, back then, and up till very those days, marriage has been considered as a family contributors settlement between a guy and a woman (or, contained while it comes to polygamy, between a guy and a variety of of alternative women persons). as a result, when I see that passage approximately no longer permitting people to marry, i think of of, as an occasion, the celibacy requirement of Catholic priest or of the Shaker community, or of regulations against miscegenation (between people of distinctive races or ethnic communities). i do no longer think of this refers to whether men can marry different men or women persons can marry different women persons. That mentioned, although i'm no longer in desire of gay marriage, i does not flow out of my thank you to end it. It galls me that Christians can get so up in hands approximately homosexuality, yet, till very those days, have yawned over downsizing, outsourcing, and different procedures that the very wealthy income on and impoverish the adverse and center type. The Bible, i think of, speaks lots extra loudly and vehemently against financial injustice than against sexual misconduct.

Did you know that you can go to www.aish.com and ask specific questions of a wonderful rabbi who is perfectly willing to help you with real, truthful answers concerning the Old Testament? That way you don't have to rely on people who know nothing about it. God bless you.
